Insert the hubodometer shaft through the hole in the center of the hub cap. Install the washer and secure with the locknut provided. Torque the nut to 18-22 ft-lb.
All surface areas should be clean. Once cap and gasket are bolted into place, torque bolts in a crisscross order to 15-20 ft-lb.
All surface areas should be clean. Lubricate O-ring seal with gear lube currently being used in the hub. Screw on and tighten to 60 ft-lb.
