Original design vents and resists contamination.
Hubodometer bolts directly to the face of the hub cap. No modifications or brackets necessary.
Mounting Gaskets

Highly crush-resistant at high flange pressures.
Gaskets have a FULLY CURED nitride binder which will withstand wheel-end temperatures up to 350 degrees.
Aluminum Construction

Lightweight, strong, durable, non-corrosive and weather-resistant.
Allows for rapid heat dissipation.

Patented Venting System

Allows for two-way air movement while protecting the wheel end from outside contaminants.
Designed to relieve wheel-end pressure and vacuum buildup.
Provides excellent protection from water-filled loading docks and high-pressure sprayers.
Patented cover protects sintered bronze vent from becoming contaminated with grease from inside the wheel end.
Sintered bronze vent is nickel plated for exceptional corrosion resistance.

Installation & Maintenance Instructions

Bolt-on hub caps:

All surface areas should be clean. Once cap and gasket are bolted into place, torque bolts in a crisscross order to 15-20 ft-lb.

Screw-on hub caps:

All surface areas should be clean. Lubricate O-ring seal with gear lube currently being used in the hub. Screw on and tighten to 60 ft-lb.

Installation of Hubodometer

Insert the hubodometer shaft through the hole in the center of the hub cap. Install the washer and secure with the locknut provided. Torque the nut to 18-22 ft-lb.
